Drupal 8 and Symfony2: Concepts and Architecture

There are big changes coming to Drupal in Drupal 8. The Symfony2 framework has been adopted, everyone is talking about dependency injection containers, and many old friends like arg() and watchdog() have been deprecated. Is this progress? Or madness? In this presentation we'll talk about the "why" behind these decisions and introduce Drupal 8 architecture at a high level.
